01 / TESTED ON THE YANGTZEFrom Chongqing to Shanghai

Real-world testing.
Our benchmark.

We took the equipment on board and sailed the Yangtze.
Test after test along an actual route
helped answer how well the onboard network performed.

03 / VESSEL-WIDE WI-FICOVER THE PLACES YOU USE

From the wheelhouse
to the living quarters.

Steel bulkheads divide space. Connectivity needs a plan.
Ethernet and Mesh bring Wi-Fi to each deck,
so you can move around without switching networks manually.

LS500 networking schematic for a vessel's multi-level aft accommodation Based on the first-generation installation guide. Stepped accommodation decks are connected by external stairs. An LS500 on the top deck connects by Ethernet to routing points on levels three and one, providing Wi-Fi to the wheelhouse and living quarters. The deck extends toward the bow on the right; only the aft section is shown.

04 / MARINE DESIGNBUILT AROUND REAL ONBOARD CONDITIONS

Weather is everyday.
Connections matter.

Sun, rain, engine vibration and electromagnetic interference.
Onboard equipment needs an extra level of consideration.

LS500 ON BOARD / AFTER THE RAIN
01

Reduce electromagnetic interference

Shielding around the main controller and power supply considers radar, radio and onboard cable environments.

02

Handle outdoor sunlight

The enclosure material includes antioxidants, light stabilizers and UV absorbers.

03

Balance sealing and cooling

A fan and spacious enclosure address both outdoor sealing and heat dissipation.

04

Cushion onboard vibration

3M vibration-damping foam protects the main board against vibration from vessel engines.

05 / CONNECTING THE CREWCONNECTIVITY FOR EVERYDAY LIFE

Life on board.
Online together.

From work at the helm to videos and calls during a break.
One onboard network connects everyone's day.
